Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Almighty God's Truth.
