Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
