Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8
