Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
