Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
