Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied 1 till you reached the grave. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: Hoarding (Al-Takaathur). Sent down in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
