Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
