The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

3 verses, revealed in Mecca after Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh) before The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the time (of the advent of Islam), 1 Surely, the human is in a (state of) loss, 2 Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. 3

True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Afternoon (Al-'Asr). Sent down in Mecca after Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh) before The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
