The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By oath of this era of yours (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him). 1 that man is surely in a state of loss, 2 unless he be of those who attain to faith, and do good works, and enjoin upon one another the keeping to truth, and enjoin upon one another patience in adversity. 3

God the Almighty always says the truth.
