The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the passage of time, 1 Indeed, mankind is in loss, 2 except the righteously striving believers who exhort each other to truthful purposes and to patience. 3

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
