The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

I swear by the passage of time, 1 Lo! Man is in a state of loss; 2 Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. 3

True are the words of God the Almighty.
