The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In outstretched columns. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
