The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
