The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in towering columns. 9
