The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
