The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
