The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
