The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in its long columns of flames. 9
