The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
