The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 It will engulf them. 8 in columns outstretched. 9
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah). Sent down in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
