The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 in towering columns. 9
