The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 In extended columns. 9
