The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
