The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
