The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
