The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
