The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 In extended columns. 9
True are the words of God the Almighty.
