The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
