The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9
