The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
