The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
