The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In columns outstretched. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
