The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
