The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
