The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 covered down upon them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
