The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
