The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
