Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
