The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In columns outstretched. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
