The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not bring their plan to naught? 2 And He loosed upon them birds in flights, 3 Which pelted them with stones of baked clay, 4 Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
