The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephant? 1 Did He not cause their war to end in confusion, 2 And send flocks of birds upon them, 3 (While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, 4 And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)? 5
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
