In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Hast thou not observed what wise thy Lord dealt with the fellows of the elephant? 1 Did He not cause their evil plots to fail 2 And He sent against them swarms of birds 3 which smote them with stones of baked clay, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5
