The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not bring their plan to naught? 2 And He sent against them birds in flocks, 3 (While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, 4 And turned them into pastured fields of corn? 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Elephant (Al-Feel). Sent down in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
