The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephant? 1 Did He not make their guile to go astray? 2 Thus, He let loose upon them great swarms of flying creatures 3 pelting them with stones of baked clay, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
