The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant? 1 Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, 2 and send against them flocks of birds, 3 pelting them with stones of baked clay, 4 so that He made them like straw eaten (by cattle). 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
