The Elephant (Al-Feel)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), did you not see how did your Lord deal with the People of the Elephant? 1 Did He not make their plan go wrong, 2 And send down (to prey) upon them birds in flocks, 3 Striking them with stones of Sijjil. 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5
