The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not make their plan go wrong, 2 And sent against them birds, in flocks, 3 Striking them with stones of Sijjil. 4 to turn them into (something) like the left-over grass grazed by cattle. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
