The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not cause their schemes to go astray? 2 Thus, He let loose upon them great swarms of flying creatures 3 Striking them with stones of baked clay. 4 So He rendered them like straw eaten up? 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
