The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not bring their plan to naught? 2 And sent against them birds, in flocks, 3 Which hit them with stones of baked clay, 4 so that He made them like straw eaten (by cattle). 5
God the Almighty always says the truth.
