Believers! Do not swallow interest, doubled and redoubled, and be mindful of Allah so that you may attain true success. 130 Keep away from the Fire prepared for the infidels; 131 Obey God and the Prophet, that you may be treated with mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous 133 Who expend both in joy and tribulation, who suppress their anger and pardon their fellowmen; and God loves those who are upright and do good, 134 And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins - Who forgiveth sins save Allah only? - and will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did. 135 For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens beneath which rivers flow – abiding in it forever; what an excellent reward for the performers (of good deeds)! 136 There have been many dispensations before you; so travel in the land and see what befell those who denied the truth. 137 This is a clear declaration for mankind, and a guidance and a warning for those who preserve themselves from evil. 138 Do not be discouraged or grieved. You alone will have true dignity if you only are true believers. 139 if you have suffered a wound, they too have suffered a similar wound. We bring these days to men by turns, so that God may know those who believe, and choose witnesses from among you; and God does not love the unjust, 140 so that God may purge those who believe and wipe out those who deny the truth. 141 Did you think that you could go to Paradise before God knew which of you fought for His cause and which of you bore patience? 142 And verily ye used to wish for death before ye met it (in the field). Now ye have seen it with your eyes! 143
